How you can help

help.jpgOur team of trained advisors are all volunteers. We want to continue to offer our services free of charge. However we do not receive any statutory funding but rely on grants, donations and fundraising events. This is where you can help by contributing to any of the following:

Grants

£3000 in 2010 and £3000 in 2011 from YAPP. This grant has been awarded to help with running costs.
£5000 from Seedbed Christian Trust for the salary of an administrator.

Fundraising events

Please support us by attending one of our fundraising events. Click here to see our latest events. Grateful thanks to all the people who helped and supported us with the following events:

Garden Party
We enjoyed a sunny evening in a beautiful garden listening to music and poetry from many talented people. Flautists, Opera, Show tunes, Poetry and more helped draw in an audience and raise over £750 for HPCC.  A big thank you to everyone who took part or helped in any way.

Argentos Meal
Hot off the press: We have just held a charity meal at Argentos Steak House in Huddersfield and raised £836.00. Thank you to Robert and Helen Melman, owners of Argentos, for their continued support.

Examiner Charity Challenge and Snowdon Climb
People have been busy keeping fit for charity. Some have taken part in the Huddersfield Examiner Charity Challenge by walking or cycling, some climbed Mount Snowdon and some did both! A total of £1535.75 was raised. Many, many thanks for all who took part.
